BHP Show 2011 – Attendees Update!

After the word was put out about Kent Car Craft taking pride of place at the next BHP car show, taking place on Monday 2nd May, a huge number of car enthusiasts have put their names forward to be positioned on the club stand!

Over forty people have come forward and will be present on the Kent Car Club stand where a marquee will be accessible for use by all club members. We have also coupled with the Mustang Owners Club to have a further fifteen Ford Mustangs alongside our stand to encompass all of what we are about! Bringing petrol heads together to be a part of a larger community.

If you have shown an interest in having your car on the club stand please get in contact with Top Gear on our forum as soon as possible. To secure your place we will need contact and vehicle details to supply you with your tickets!

So much more is taking place that we can’t begin to detail here so check out the following forum threads:

This means there will a nice group of friendly people to socialise with, a nice range of Japanese, Euro and American cars to enjoy alongside a short but (hopefully) swift drive around southern Kent, to the coast and back in time for some evening food.

If you want more details and wish to come along please visit our club forum to indicate your interest.

This is a free public event for anyone interested in cars and registration to the club is encouraged but not a requirement.

Mid Morning Motoring – Photo Gallery

Here is a selection of photographs taken by our resident photographer (and co-founder!) Top Gear from last Sundays meet!

There were some nice sprints and the weather held so we couldn’t have asked for more!

Thanks again to everyone who turned up for the event. We are always open to suggestions for changes to the format so keep your eyes open for the next event that should be determined in the coming days!

BHP Show 2011!

Kent Car Club will have pride of place at the BHP Show on 2nd May 2011 at Lydden Race Circuit and it has just got better, “Free” entrance for the first 25 people who attend through the club!

Yes! Kent Car Club is going to pay for the first 25 members on the Club Stand

Four Seasons Marquee Company are going to supply and put up a large marquee the day before. As this is purposely made it will withstand any weather and we will not have to start so early in the morning. Alongside this there will be someone on hand to make and serve refreshments throughout the day so every member can enjoy the day without feeling they should participate in some of the tasks (although any help will be really appreciated!!).

There will be cash prizes for the best presented cars on the day (this applies to our stand and members only)

You decide the winner, each member attending the show will vote for the best vehicles on the KCC stand.

More details will be made public as and when we know more, in the mean time to keep up to date please follow the events build up in our forums.
