New Year Meeting 18th January 2015
In the IMAX Cinema GROUND FLOOR
Meet at 6pm
Lets get a good turn out for this one
We do not have this issue in our club fortunately and we have a good name because of it but if anyone is seen messing about ie burnouts, donuts etc etc you will be asked to leave as I have a good relationship with bluewater and do not want to ruin this with someone being stupid. (it aint impressing noone)
New Event for 2015
2nd Sunday of every month Cars and Coffee meet. Thinking about meeting at 7.30/8am for breakfast or coffee at a rotation of places,
Margate harbour arm
First Date will be March the 8th 2015
We could do a morning run before hand (to the venue) for those who fancy it however the whole idea will be to meet for breakfast chat about car stuff & have a good morning out.
Sunday 30th August is our 5th charity drive and car show/fun day in aid of Kent Surrey and Sussex air ambulance trust. Next year we are starting a drive from Brighton Marina and finishing at the Hop farm nr Tonbridge where car clubs can display and enter competitions, emergency services display, craft and automotive stalls, food, drink and entertainment will all be for the rest of our day.
All proceeds will go to the charity hopefully beating this years £815 total and making an impressive increase on our £5000 raised so far.
We have a large venue and the more the merrier we say. It’s up to you how you do it. If you want to open it up but pick a select few to be part of the club main display stand then the others can go to the participants car park and be on general display.
Tickets will be key rings which you collect on the day one per car.
Prepaid ticket entry is £10 this includes the key ring. To pay will be a just giving page I will be setting up tonight.
If people want to pay on the day it will be £12 still for key ring but I would rather have prepaid so we don’t have to handle too much money on the morning.
If you would like to invite your members to join our page it’s called ‘Cruising For Charity (KSSAAT)’ and you can keep up to date with developments
On the day we so far have a number of bands confirmed for our live music stage. Few craft stalls. Food and drink. Caricaturist. Face painting. Bouncy castles for adults and kids.

“Yes” Club member Rob did it again with his “gold plated” engine.
His car was voted as having the best engine bay at the Ultimate Street Car Show 2012.
The Shown & Shine was open to all makes and models; we can honestly say it had one of the highest entry-level standards we have seen at any show so far. There were over 100 cars entered in the Show & Shine including professionally custom-built cars. Rob had to compete against the top cars from manufacturers including, BMW, Honda, Audi, Vauxhall, Mitsubishi, Toyota and Ford just to name a few. With the strong competition and him being awarded this trophy it clearly recognises his hard work and attention to detail.
Well done Rob.
Here is a selection of photos, the full set of which can be seen within our club forum here.
