It’s come back around and the BHP Performance Show is fast approaching. Taking place on 7th May 2012, this is the biggest event of the Kent Car Club calendar and is sure to be even better than last year.

For those who didn’t attend or have forgotten, you can view the photo gallery below.

Details for our club stand are still being finalised, however we can confirm that we have even more space compared to last year and best of all, the event will be free to full Kent Car Club members who attend as part of our stand.

It is not a surprise that Rob (mitchell9006) was one of the top cars at the Show again this year. A beautiful car with lots of attention to detail.

Alongside this car was also founding club member Top Gear’s unique and very special V6 MR2! This is brilliant news for the club and shows how far we have come since starting this club almost two years ago, the club members dedication to their vehicles and they deserve all the recognition they recieve.

Following this top 5 position, these cars are being featured in a number of car enthusiast magazines so keep your eyes pealed for those.

We are having a Show and Shine joint evening with the MR2 Owners Club at the Newnham Court Inn on June 28th. People are encouraged to start arriving at 7pm for a social get together while having some photos taken of the cars. Kent Car Club has several enthusiastic members who are also part of the MR2OC and we are committed to building links and relationships with other clubs who have a strong following within the South East region. If you want to come along to check out either clubs then feel free to do so, we will all do what we can to make you feel welcome.

Wow what an event! The BHP Show went so well and we’ve got too many photos to post up in one hit. With this in mind, as photos are posted up by our club members we will start to set up a number of galleries, each with a selection of the best photographs out of those submitted by our members.

This is not in conjunction with the photographers who came along as they will be having their own galleries hosted on this website.

Months of planning and organisation on the part of Michael and Noreen led to an awesome day where Kent Car Club had the largest stand of the show with 105 people plus their vehicles!

Awards were given out by the club and the show, but news of these will follow shortly with photographs all of their own!

The club managed to raise £175.98 towards Macmillan Cancer Support in Kent through their donation boxes within the large marquee!!

Here is the first batch of photos, but please remember there will be more to follow in the coming weeks following such an active, large, enjoyable and successful show!

After the word was put out about Kent Car Craft taking pride of place at the next BHP car show, taking place on Monday 2nd May, a huge number of car enthusiasts have put their names forward to be positioned on the club stand!

Over forty people have come forward and will be present on the Kent Car Club stand where a marquee will be accessible for use by all club members. We have also coupled with the Mustang Owners Club to have a further fifteen Ford Mustangs alongside our stand to encompass all of what we are about! Bringing petrol heads together to be a part of a larger community.

If you have shown an interest in having your car on the club stand please get in contact with Top Gear on our forum as soon as possible. To secure your place we will need contact and vehicle details to supply you with your tickets!
