Once again we are pride of place at the BHP Performance Show, taking place this bank holiday Monday! Come long and visit us at our club stand if you are interested in what we do or to meet like-minded car enthusiasts.

We will be making posts and updates through the day on our Facebook Page so like us now and keep up to date with the days activities, including our Show & Shine awards and some of our members taking track sessions around Lydden Race Circuit.

You can also meet the Kent Car Club models, the rebels, who are showing their support for all of our members at this event.

The club held a meet on Sunday 25 March, organised by club member Edwardio on our very own forums, at the 7 Diner in Halstead. A selection of photos were taken by Top Gear of members cars alongside The Rebels, our own beautiful ladies who modelled for the event.

It’s come back around and the BHP Performance Show is fast approaching. Taking place on 7th May 2012, this is the biggest event of the Kent Car Club calendar and is sure to be even better than last year.

For those who didn’t attend or have forgotten, you can view the photo gallery below.

Details for our club stand are still being finalised, however we can confirm that we have even more space compared to last year and best of all, the event will be free to full Kent Car Club members who attend as part of our stand.

Alongside this car was also founding club member Top Gear’s unique and very special V6 MR2! This is brilliant news for the club and shows how far we have come since starting this club almost two years ago, the club members dedication to their vehicles and they deserve all the recognition they recieve.

Following this top 5 position, these cars are being featured in a number of car enthusiast magazines so keep your eyes pealed for those.

These photos really are of a professional quality showing the raw action of the drift cars, the sunglasses inducing engine bays and gorgeous club stand models. Once more, huge thanks to Gary for taking these photos and sending them through for use on our club website.

We are having a Show and Shine joint evening with the MR2 Owners Club at the Newnham Court Inn on June 28th. People are encouraged to start arriving at 7pm for a social get together while having some photos taken of the cars. Kent Car Club has several enthusiastic members who are also part of the MR2OC and we are committed to building links and relationships with other clubs who have a strong following within the South East region. If you want to come along to check out either clubs then feel free to do so, we will all do what we can to make you feel welcome.
