Hi guys, the next Kent run for our club will be held on Sunday the 24th January and we are inviting the guys from KC-OC.co.uk to attend.

The format will be the same as our last event with a 1-2 hour drive on some of the best roads in Kent ending with a pub lunch , meeting to start driving at 10am to be sat and eating at 12:30pm (ish). The start will be Maidstone services located off Junction 8 of the M20.

If you are able to attend please post in the usual way so we can get a list of attendee's together.

Of course, given the time of year we can't gaurentee the weather will be any good but as has been proven on our last event, weather won't stop us having a bit of fun. :D

I think this is a good date as it gives enough time to recover from the Xmas period and allow us all to start to get into the swing of things for the start of the new year.

It is the coldest time of year and could possibly be snowing, but I will be there.

I will be getting a bit of practice in over the next couple of days in Norway, 150mm of snow where I am going in the last 24 hours.

I hope we are going to end up in a warm pub with good food again :)

It would be nice to meet up with the other club

I was thinking of perhaps starting a little later just in case the weather is really that bad - then we can just drive straight to the pub lunch and miss out on the driving portion - or even go to the pub first and if the weather is good, have the drive held aftewards.

What do you guys think?

i think closer to the time with a weather outlook can determine this,

i would prefer the drive prior to the meet/ lunch :)

Same here tbh, I don't like driving 'enthusiastically' on a full stomach!

So it's settled then , if the weather is acceptible, it will be a drive and then pub lunch, if not then it'll just be the lunch. 8-)

Either way we'll be having a meet on the 24th January.

Oooh it'll be nice to see an RX7 FD in the flesh!

Last time I saw one up close was a good number of years ago, but they have always been a think of beauty! The only reason I havn't made the effort to save and get one myself is the fuel costs!!

Once I tire of the MR2 Turbo I'll be looking to get an RX7, so that will probably be sometime in 2011. :D

Should be a good meet guys.

Can't wait to take a look at your cars as I am looking at getting a Jap car possibly next year. Not 100% yet as I keep changing my mind. lol.
