This event is going to be one for the hardened petrol heads, starting at Sunrise on Sunday 7th March at 6:30pm sharp! Three whole hours of driving across Kent with a couple of photo stops on the way, this is definitely not one to be missed.

As always, here are the key details that you should note in your diary:

The Kent Car Club, Best Presented Car 2010 Cup has arrived.

Every car that attends a Kent Car Club event or show is entered into a free competition for the two best presented cars on the day. The previous winners of the best presented cars on the day are the judges. The two winners receive a £25 cash prize

It does not just stop there, the best presented car winners throughout the year are automatically entered into the Kent Car Club Best Presented car award of the year.

There will be a Best Presented (show and shine) car meeting at the end of the year. Everyone is invited to this meeting to give you a final chance to enter for the Best Presented car of the day. Like before, the judges for the Best Presented car of the day will be the previous winners and those cars will be entered into the year cup competition. On the same day at the same meeting everyone who attends will be asked to vote for the best car of the year. Whoever gets the majority vote by the members will be the winner of this beautiful trophy which will have your name engraved on it and £100 cash

A very good reason for attending the Sunrise run and the May BHP Show

We will shortly be announcing more information about the Best Car Project Trophy :D

Gazz will probably update page 1 a bit later and add your name to it. (He is a busy man in the background making improvements for the Club and planning new events)

This event is getting a nice lot of support, going to be different with quiet roads at that time day.

The Club is also going to do a couple of evening runs and a coastal one, all a bit different.

On this event we will be trying out the new two-way radios. :D

Sorry for not posting an update in the forum , just so busy with things as Top Gear has said!!

I did update the homepage to show that this event is taking place next Sunday. Hope the weather has blown itself out by this time next week though... Either way the show will still go on! We wen't for a drive on a damp Sunday morning in December and even though it was wet roads and a bit drizzley , we still made good progress and had a great time of it.

You just drive to the conditions and the weather just works as an extra feature to make the drive more interesting. 8-)

I'll have to take the details from pistonheads and cross them with our one again and will do that shortly. Nickzor, my passenger seat is free if your car is not ready.

I need a passenger and my usual co-pilot is out of the country this time around so if anyone wants to take me up on my offer, please fire me a PM! 8-)
