Ultimate Street Car Show 2012 – Photo Gallery

“Yes” Club member Rob did it again with his “gold plated” engine.

His car was voted as having the best engine bay at the Ultimate Street Car Show 2012.

The Shown & Shine was open to all makes and models; we can honestly say it had one of the highest entry-level standards we have seen at any show so far. There were over 100 cars entered in the Show & Shine including professionally custom-built cars. Rob had to compete against the top cars from manufacturers including, BMW, Honda, Audi, Vauxhall, Mitsubishi, Toyota and Ford just to name a few. With the strong competition and him being awarded this trophy it clearly recognises his hard work and attention to detail.

Well done Rob.

Here is a selection of photos, the full set of which can be seen within our club forum here.

French Connection Meet Photo Gallery

Another successful meet organised and setup by club member Edwardio went down a treat with a large turn out and a lot of friendly banter. So many photos were taken that they have not all been included in the Photo Gallery so please look through the selection here and if you want to view more or comment please visit our club forum here.

Our own Top Gear represents at Jap Fest 2 – 2011

Club member, Top Gear, made his way up to Jap Show 2 at Donnington Park and come across several other Kent Car Club members while there. It’s great to hear that our members are travelling far and wide to visit the big car events through the year so to help support our members, here is a selection of photographs taken during the weekend.

Ashford Photography Society BHP Show Photos

We have a selection of photos taken by Ashford Photography Society’s member Gary, all taken during the BHP Performance Show. The pick of the photos can be found in our photo gallery and the full selection can be seen in our ‘Event Photos‘ area of the club forum.

These photos really are of a professional quality showing the raw action of the drift cars, the sunglasses inducing engine bays and gorgeous club stand models. Once more, huge thanks to Gary for taking these photos and sending them through for use on our club website.

Club Success at BHP Performance Show!

Wow what an event! The BHP Show went so well and we’ve got too many photos to post up in one hit. With this in mind, as photos are posted up by our club members we will start to set up a number of galleries, each with a selection of the best photographs out of those submitted by our members.

This is not in conjunction with the photographers who came along as they will be having their own galleries hosted on this website.

Months of planning and organisation on the part of Michael and Noreen led to an awesome day where Kent Car Club had the largest stand of the show with 105 people plus their vehicles!

Awards were given out by the club and the show, but news of these will follow shortly with photographs all of their own!

The club managed to raise £175.98 towards Macmillan Cancer Support in Kent through their donation boxes within the large marquee!!

Here is the first batch of photos, but please remember there will be more to follow in the coming weeks following such an active, large, enjoyable and successful show!

BHP Show 2011 – Attendees Update!

After the word was put out about Kent Car Craft taking pride of place at the next BHP car show, taking place on Monday 2nd May, a huge number of car enthusiasts have put their names forward to be positioned on the club stand!

Over forty people have come forward and will be present on the Kent Car Club stand where a marquee will be accessible for use by all club members. We have also coupled with the Mustang Owners Club to have a further fifteen Ford Mustangs alongside our stand to encompass all of what we are about! Bringing petrol heads together to be a part of a larger community.

If you have shown an interest in having your car on the club stand please get in contact with Top Gear on our forum as soon as possible. To secure your place we will need contact and vehicle details to supply you with your tickets!

So much more is taking place that we can’t begin to detail here so check out the following forum threads:

We’re holding a club meet on Saturday 2nd April to start and end in Ashford alongside the Mustang clubs regional gathering. Arrive after 6pm to drive from 6.30pm – no waiting for stragglers!

This means there will a nice group of friendly people to socialise with, a nice range of Japanese, Euro and American cars to enjoy alongside a short but (hopefully) swift drive around southern Kent, to the coast and back in time for some evening food.

If you want more details and wish to come along please visit our club forum to indicate your interest.

This is a free public event for anyone interested in cars and registration to the club is encouraged but not a requirement.
